Ensuring that gender-affirming care and abortion is enshrined in state constitutions around the country will protect trans folks and those who need abortions before heinous attacks on issues of bodily autonomy can occur. Contact your state and local legislators and urge them to protect trans health and rights.

Remember that this is not only a legislative battle, but also one of culture. Make sure your friends, family, and children know about and respect the existence of trans folks.
